To help charging stations be found, neuzeit conceived, designed, and developed a location finder in Vue.js. Through easy-to-use search and filter functions, users can now charge their e-mobiles across the country and continue on their journey fully charged.

The Challenge

What you need

The essential challenge was to create an intuitive and high-performance solution that enables drivers of electric cars to quickly and easily find the nearest available charging station. We were commissioned to design, develop, and implement a location finder that ensures a seamless user experience through easy-to-use search and filter functions and thus promotes acceptance of the new infrastructure.

THE PROCESS

Locations finden via Google Maps API

Our development process focused on the new conception of the charging station finder using modern web technologies. The application was implemented as a Vue.js application to ensure high performance and a dynamic user interface. A central component was the integration of the Google Maps API, through which we visualized geo-location data from the customer's existing databases. This enabled a map-based presentation of all charging points across Germany, enriched with detailed search and filter options.

KEY RESULTS

Electrifying Collaboration

The result is a highly functional and user-friendly map application that makes a significant contribution to the visibility and usability of Telekom's nationwide charging network. With this project, we support Telekom's strategic initiative to modernize existing telecommunications infrastructure and make it usable for the expansion of electromobility. For us, this project marks another successful implementation of a complex map application in the Vue.js ecosystem.
